Overview

A two-EV household in Redmond needed to charge both cars overnight, but their panel didn't have room for two more 240V circuits. Smart load management let us install both Level 2 chargers in a single afternoon — no panel upgrade required.

The challenge

Two dedicated 240V charging circuits would have pushed the existing panel past its limit, normally forcing an expensive service upgrade before any chargers could go in.

What we did

We installed both chargers on a shared, load-managed circuit that intelligently splits available capacity between the two cars. Cables were routed cleanly along the garage wall, and both units were commissioned and app-connected.

Results

  • Two Level 2 chargers added with no panel upgrade
  • Load management balances power between both vehicles
  • Clean, wall-mounted cable routing in the garage
  • Completed in a single half-day visit
